WOW!
The US Navy shot an orbiting satellite out of the sky today.
The sum total of the technological know-how to both get the satellite up, and then knock it down, is humbling. I don't know that I'd have even kept the lens pointed at the rocket that well. Thanks for that link, Natalie.

I can hardly keep the end of my telescope steadily trained on a star much less conceptualize the math and skill involved in shooting a satellite down.
