Dyslexic agnostic unsure about Dog...

As I updated my blogger profile tonight, I was reminded of that old joke about the dyslexic agnostic who stayed up all night pondering the existence of dog. Although our agnostic fish continues contemplating the origins of life, sadly, our sweet "ADHD border collie" died in early December. Her name was Abby, and she was a good ol' girl.

Sorry to hear about your pup. We lost a cat to skin cancer just after new year's. Then, we adopted two kittens. We haven't figured out their religious or political leanings yet. Heh.

So sorry to hear about Abby. We lost our German Shorthaired Pointer, Reba last summer.

She was such a good fit for our family, very laid back, yet dignified. She was a part of our family for fourteen years and we are talking about adopting another, but haven't brought ourself to do it yet.

Thanks y'all. Abby was also 14. When we realized that she was aging rapidly, especially in the last year, we adopted a three-year-old white german shepherd mix in July. She was a birthday present for Dagny. Her name is Sasha.

I don't think I ever want to be without a dog, so adopting a new pet while Abby was still healthy seemed like the best way to make that transition.

So sorry about your puppy. Border Collies are so sweet. We got my mom one for Christmas for she would not get so lonely.
